The next evolution of GEL-NYC is here with the introduction of the GEL_NYC 2.0. The sneaker sources inspiration from heritage and modern performance running styles, referencing the upper of the GEL-1050 from the year 2000, but also updating it with suede overlays for a modern finish. The newly designed tooling also references the GEL-1050, as well as the GEL-LYTE DS II shoe outsole influences for lifestyle purposes. A combination of TRUSSTIC support units, GEL technology inserts, and FF BLAST PLUS cushioning creates a lighter and more comfortable midsole feel than the original GEL-NYC.
